Rosond: Bursaries 2024
Rosond invites eligible South African students to submit applications for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2024.
Bursary application closing date is 30 November 2023.
The Rosond Bursary Program provides financial support to students residing in specific communities within Gauteng, Limpopo, North West, and Northern Cape provinces pursuing studies in various fields.
Eligibility Criteria for Rosond Bursary:
- Age: Between 18 and 30 years old.
- Education: Completed Matric.
- Field of Study: Studying full-time in specified fields (Data Science, Engineering, Environmental, Finance, Geology, Human Resources, Information Technology, Management, Mining, Occupational Health & Safety, Supply Chain, Trades).
- Year of Study: Enrolled in the 1st to 3rd year of studies.
- Tertiary Institution: Studying at a recognized and accredited South African tertiary institution.
- Academic Performance: Must have achieved a minimum overall average of 60%.
- Residence: From specific communities listed within the mentioned provinces.
Targeted Communities:
- Gauteng: Various communities within Johannesburg, Ekurhuleni, and West Rand District Municipality.
- Limpopo: Communities within Thabazimbi, Sekhukune, and Lydenburg areas.
- North West: Communities within Moses Kotane, Local Bafokeng Villages, Bakgatla Ba Kgafela Villages, and others.
- Northern Cape: Communities including Boichoko, Newtown, Maranteng, and several others.
How to apply
Required Documents:
- Certified copy of ID document
- Certified copy of Matric certificate
- Certified copy of full academic record/transcripts (if currently studying)
- Current financial statement/quote from your institution (on institution’s letterhead)
- Proof of registration at a tertiary institution (on institution’s letterhead)
- Motivational letter supporting the application
- Proof of address
- Parents/guardians proof of total household income
- Updated Curriculum Vitae
